About Us
 K's Funeral Service opened in April 2000
at 484 City Road, Sheffield, S2 1GD
It is managed by a local girl Suzanne Wood who has dedicated over 22 years to caring for the needs of the bereaved.
We are aware how important a funeral service is to a family, and, because we care, we will ensure that families using our service will be treated with kindness and understanding and above all dignity and respect.
The time between death and the funeral often feels like an eternity, but, in truth, it is very short. We are left numb by the grief and the feeling of disbelief.
It is at a time such as this that most of us tend to allow the funeral arrangements to progress at their own pace.
We allow those who know better to take control.
It is after the funeral that we have time for reflection. The funeral service is most likely to be part of that reflection.
We may ask ourselves how the funeral could have been more personal.
What could have been done to make the funeral a more individual and appropriate memorial to the person who has passed away.
Some people would like to have more involvement in the actual funeral service.
Some may wish to prepare a few words and others may wish to say them
during the service. All
your wishes can be arranged.
We are also aware that there are those who would welcome the opportunity to care for the deceased themselves.
We understand, and, if circumstances allow, we can arrange for this.

We can supply you with floral tributes and arrange catering.
We have two private chapels of rest.
Whether cremation or burial we can also help you arrange a suitable memorial.
If there is anything special you would like, we will endeavour to arrange it for you.
Irrespective of class, gender or race, our care of you and your loved one will not differ. Each will be met with the same kindness and understanding we would wish for ourselves, and each of your loved ones will be treated with the same quiet dignity, gentleness and respect we would wish for our own.
And remember, at K's, the care of family does not end with the funeral, we are here to give you continued support.
